SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE: Do you like working in a fast paced, energetic, results-focused environment? The Media One Group of 5 great radio stations and 5 great websites has an immediate opening for a full-time Sales Account Executive. Primary responsibilities include new account development, building client relationships, writing proposals and the servicing of accounts. The right candidate must be a motivated and a enthusiastic self-starter who is able to work effectively in a team environment while also independently. You must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, time management skills and be very detail oriented. Broadcast sales experience is beneficial, but not a requirement. BROADCAST RF/IT ENGINEER: The Media One Group of radio stations in Jamestown, New York has an immediate opening for a Broadcast/IT Engineer. The ideal candidate has experience in electronics, computer networking and a strong understanding of RF technology. Duties include maintaining five radio station transmitters, broadcast audio equipment, satellite equipment, Scotts Studios automation, administrating a SBC and on-site email server. Computer proficiency is a must. Candidates will be required to be on call 24/7. Media One Group, LLC (WWSE, WJTN, WHUG, WKSN, WQFX) annually attends job and career fairs, accommodates intern and job shadow's, speak to students ranging between elementary and college age and are involved in community service functions, all in an attempt to disseminate specific and general information in regards to job openings and careers in broadcasting. When we do have job openings we minimally run advertising on 5 radio stations over every day part announcing the opening. We also send notice to all of those on current recruitment list.
